I’ve been coming here since I was a kid! I usually get the same thing every time but today I decided to try their scones. OMG they’re amazing!!! Best scones I’ve ever had!! Way better than the fair scones! They’re super moist and fluffy!! 10/10 recommend. They only take cash though, so keep that in mind.
Definitely the best donuts I've ever had, and they're not even expensive. They're always fresh and some of them are about the size of two donuts put together. The people working there are also very friendly. Favorites are the cinnamon twists, maple bars, and crullers, but I haven't had a bad one yet.

Wholesome family fun at this local treasure. Pao's Donuts and Coffee Shop has been on 6th Avenue for what seems like forever, but we're all thankful they're here to fill our deep desires for amazing donuts. These days its getting harder and harder to find handcrafted old fashioned doughnuts, but you can find them here -- and they're amazing! When you come, be sure to bring cash as Pao's doesn't accept anything else. Most doughnuts are $1.25 each.
Oh my! Good donuts! I had an absolutely tasty apple fritter and hubby had a strawberry scone that was so light and fluffy and huge... And the prices are incredible. We paid only $4.25 for a giant fritter and a huge scone. Service is quick and friendly, mostly take out. There are a few tables inside but we took ours to go. I noticed most customers were getting theirs by the dozen and I almost wanted to do that because of the huge variety. We came unprepared because they are cash only and had enough cash to pick one each! I would definitely come back and get more.
That has to be one of the absolute best maple bars I've ever tasted. Not usually a big fan of yeast donuts, but the structure and crump are divine. New favorite shop!
Best donuts around!!! I’m donut obsessed, coming to Paos is a Saturday morning tradition. I think about them during the week leading up to the weekend (although they are open 7 days a week) if you get there in the morning the donuts are still warm. The maple bars are OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD! all of their donuts are incredible, and HUGE, I also love the vanilla sprinkle cake, and old fashioned! Always get a dozen donut holes when we stop in as well ???? their raspberry, and blueberry scones are huge, fresh and delicious! prices are incredibly reasonable, love supporting a local family business. Cant beat the classics, these donuts are THE BEST!!
My go to place for delicious donuts on the Westend of Tacoma. Cash only and a slow rollout of donuts in the morning, but worth the wait. If you wanted raised donuts, plan to stop by a little later in the morning.

Tacoma has two different "hipster" donut places, finally what I think of as just a regular pink box no nonsense donut place. They have a funky little drive through and only take cash. The donuts are all the kinds you expect, nothing particularly elaborate or frilly. Definitely prefer Pao's versus Top Pot or Legendary
